A leading organization providing services to the nursing community in Australia. The company runs an Internet portal through which various services are offered to the nurses, midwives and service providers in Australia. These services include nursing equipment, online courses, content and a platform to connect job seekers with potential employers.
The Requirement
The client is renowned for services that the client offers to the nursing community. Nurses in Australia are required to participate in the Continues Professional Development program. This program helps them learn new skills during their professional life. To help facilitate the learning needs and to meet the training requirements of the nursing community, client provides eLearning programs. The organization had a set of eLearning courses to offer and now the client was looking to add more to the bouquet. This is where SKILLDOM stepped in.
The Challenge
The client was looking for an eLearning solution that would provide the nurses an enriching learning experience. The challenge was to:
- Understand and analyze the medical content
- Analyze learners’ profile
The Solution
- Learning Modules: The complete course was spread across a number of modules that helped the nurses understand critical body systems. Each module educated learners about a part/system of the body.
- Using Characters: Male and female nurse characters were developed. These characters appeared at regular intervals throughout the course. They not only guided learners at critical stages but also provided them close to a classroom training experience.
- Interactive Templates: To make learning engaging and interactive, custom templates were devised for this course. These templates helped the target audience understand critical concepts in an entertaining and yet an educative way.
- Agile Mode: The client wanted to deploy the course as per the planned schedule that was shared with SKILLDOM.
